VICTORIAN AND TASMANIAN SCENERY FOR FLT SIM 5
=============================================
(Version 4)
The file AUS_VIC4.BGL contains all airports and navaids for the states
of Victoria and Tasmania, Australia.
Scenery is for FS5.0a. Copy the file into your FS5 Scenery directory,
then call up the World / Airports Directory to use this scenery.
Credits
=======
The data in this scenery has been compiled using BGLGEN.EXE,
developed by Enno Borgsteede [Compuserve 72763,311; Fidonet 2:281/202.7]
with help from Maurizio Gavioli and others. Copyright.
Purpose
=======
The scenery allows IFR flight throughout Victoria, and across Bass Strait
to Tasmania. It also allows easy and automatic scenery selection when
flying from Victoria to New South Wales (Tom Monnone's NSW scenery) and
on to Queensland (Ron McKeirnan's QLD scenery).
Limitations
===========
The scenery contains all public airports in the States of Victoria and
Tasmania, with all navigation aids. Where NDB and DME and used together,
(without VOR), "phantom" VORs have been used to provide the DME in the
NAV2 DME slot, with the ADF dial taking the place of NAV2.
The FS5 coastal outline of Australia is very approximate and inaccurate.
At several coastal locations you will find runways floating in the ocean!
I have left them there since they provide coordinate accuracy.
This problem should disappear with the next version of the scenery,
and you can look forward to seeing some real scenery, including city
buildings, hills, rural areas, etc.
In this version the entire continent is flat - Altitude Zero.
This should also be corrected in future versions.
